When there needs to be two applications, PPT To Flash Studio and PPT To Flash Studio Editor?
There are two primary reason:
PPT To Flash Studio can be run as a PowerPoint plug-in or as a standalone application. You can launch a PPT To Flash Studio plug-in within PowerPoint by clicking on PPT To Flash Studio icon or menu.
Running in a plug-in mode
When you launch PPT To Flash Studio plug-in, PowerPoint window will be minimized. To go back to PowerPoint, simply click on Back to PowerPoint button at the top right corner of the main window. In plug-in mode, the current PowerPoint presentation will automatically be loaded into PPT To Flash Studio. You cannot do batch conversion when running a PPT To Flash Studio in a plug-in mode.
Running in a standalone mode
To run in a standalone mode, start PPT To Flash Studio from windows Start => Programs => PPT To Flash Studio 1.0
Running in a standalone mode allows you to load one or many PowerPoint file into the projects. It is strongly advise to run only one instance of PPT To Flash Studio as older version of PowerPoint does not support running a plug-in concurrent with a standalone application.
Converting from a PowerPoint file using PPT To Flash Studio takes is very easy.
First time you run the application you will see the following startup dialog.
You can either create a new conversion project or open an existing project. For now, select Create new conversion project and click OK.
