topWhy does my published video appear very blocky?
Please check if you have changed your video resolution at Settings tab. To reduce the blockiness you can check Smooth video checkbox in the Settings tab.
 
topWhy does my published video appear jerky (a moving object in the previous frames leaving a trailmark)?
Please try reducing the key frame interval at Settings tab. The smaller the value, the better the quality but also produce slightly bigger file size.

Please try reducing the quantizer value. The smaller the value, the better the quality but also produce slightly bigger file size.
 
topWhat is the maximum published video duration?
Macromedia Flash only support up to 16,000 frames. If your video frame rate is 25, then the maximum duration will be 640 seconds. However Flash Video Studio allow you to set a url to open at the end of a video playback. This way you can chained several SWF files to make a longer videos.
 
topWhy can't I set quantizer and keyframe value?
You might have a Video Quality sets to one of the preset value. Please change it into Custom Preset to enable manual control over quantizer and keyframe.
 
topWhy does my text/image watermark appear very blur?
Please check if you have changed your video resolution at Settings tab. As watermark is drawn on top of your video image, changes in video resolution will also apply to the watermark.
 
topCan I put watermark on all videos published by batch publish feature?
Yes you can. All settings defined in the main project will be used for every video published by batch publish feature.
 
topWhy the published video has a different bandwidth and size than the estimate showing at the bottom of the application window?
It is impossible to know the bandwidth and publish size precisely before actually publishing the video. However Flash Video Studio always try to offer the best estimate.
 
topWhy the published video appear jumpy (skip frames at a certain interval)?
Macromedia Flash plays small to medium size video (smaller than 500x400) well but it is not designed to play large video. When playing large video, it might skip a few frames trying to achieve real time playback.
