Step 3. Adding Watermark and Secondary Soundtrack

Top  Previous  Next

In this section you can add image, text watermark and a secondary soundtrack

Flash Video Studio supports both static (BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG, TIF) and animated image format (GIF animation), and also the GIF and PNG transparency. You can also select when and how long you want the watermark to show.

Tab-3

To select an image watermark, first check the Have Image Watermark checkbox.
Click the Browse button inside the Image Watermark control group to select an image file.
When a GIF or PNG file is selected, the transparency will be read directly from the image file. However you can always overwrite the transparency by nominating a color as transparent (not available when a GIF animation is selected). To overwrite the transparency settings, check the Set transparent color checkbox and click the colorbox next to it to select a color.

Sometimes an area that you want to make a transparent area might consist of one color (eg: white) with a slight variations. Flash Video Studio allows you to adjust the variation tolerance/sensitivity by dragging the Tolerance slider. The bigger the tolerance value, the less sensitive it is to the color variation.

By default, the image watermark position is set to the upper left. You can change it by selecting the watermark position from the Position listbox. Selecting the Custom settings position will enable you to type in the x, y coordinate manually.
To select a text watermark, check the Have Text Watermark checkbox.
You can then type in the text and adjust text standard parameter such as bold/italic/underline, color, text alignment, etc.
To add a secondary audio file, check the Have secondary audio checkbox.

Click the Browse button inside the Secondary audio group to select an audio file.

The following audio format are supported by the Flash Video Studio: WAV, MP3, WMA.
